Global design festival OFFF makes its debut in Estonia
The internationally acclaimed design and creativity festival OFFF will take place in Estonia for the first time on 9–11 June 2027, bringing its unique blend of innovation, collaboration, and inspiration to Tallinn. The festival serves as a global meeting point for leading voices and emerging talents across art, design, and digital culture.
OFFF gathers creative professionals united by a shared passion for technology, design, architecture, communication, and digital innovation. The program features a dynamic mix of talks, workshops, and masterclasses, offering attendees opportunities to learn from and engage with some of the most influential figures in the creative industries.
Founded in Barcelona in 2001, OFFF attracts more than 5,000 visitors to Barcelona each year. The festival has since expanded internationally, with sister events held in Seville and Montreal. From next year, Tallinn will join this prestigious lineup.
According to OFFF’s chief organizer Pep Salazar, expanding to Estonia is a natural next step for the festival.
“Tallinn offers OFFF the opportunity to connect with a region that has strong potential for building a vibrant and diverse creative community,” said Salazar. “Estonia brings us closer to the innovation and creativity of the Baltic and Nordic regions. As a pioneer in the digital sphere, Estonia represents a powerful example of forward-thinking creativity. Our goal with the first OFFF Tallinn is to merge the festival’s global perspective with local expertise and establish a distinctive event that will continue to grow in the years ahead.”
Anniken Haldna, CEO of the Estonian Marketing Association (TULI) and co-organizer of OFFF Tallinn, emphasized that the festival’s decision to come to Estonia is a significant recognition of the local creative sector.
“Many Estonian agencies and designers first attended OFFF decades ago and continue to do so today – a testament to the festival’s lasting impact,” said Haldna. “We are proud to bring OFFF to Tallinn. It is one of the most recognized events in the industry. A true celebration of creativity where leading minds in design and culture showcase their ideas, work, and methodologies. It is an honor that Pep and his team see Estonia as a natural home for OFFF.”
The Estonian Marketing Association (TULI) brings together agencies, clients, and service providers to advance the development of the marketing sector. The organization supports professional standards, provides its members with tools and knowledge, and represents the industry’s interests in society. TULI is also the organizer of the creativity festival Kuldmuna (Golden Egg) and plays an active role in shaping marketing practices in Estonia.
